Hani Elmalky leads Google Fiber's Network Planning & Engineering team, driving the evolution of its network infrastructure with a focus on automation, reliability, and future-ready services. He has been instrumental in the rollout of XGS-PON across the footprint, the launch of 20G services, and early groundwork for 100G CPON.

Beyond traditional network engineering, Hani is spearheading AI-driven automation across Google Fiber—from real-time diagnostics and predictive workflows to generative tools that empower operations teams and engineers alike. He emphasizes pairing the right AI models with the right data to deliver smarter, faster, and more efficient network operations.

With over 20 years of experience across telecom, cloud, and networking, Hani has held leadership roles at leading providers where he focused on large-scale architecture, next-gen infrastructure, and customer-centric innovation. He also serves as a board member / technical advisor to multiple startups, helping them apply advanced technology, AI, and scalable systems to accelerate growth.
